Ronaldo’s Triumphant Return: Al Nassr Secures Thrilling Victory

In the early morning of April 28, Cristiano Ronaldo returned to Al Nassr’s starting lineup after being suspended for one match against Al-Fayha. However, Sadio Mane missed the match due to accumulating 4 yellow cards. The first half saw the match evenly balanced and both teams had opportunities to break the deadlock.

The linesman raised the offside flag five times, including two moves by Ronaldo, one of which he put the ball into the net. As the first half ended, Al Nassr players requested a penalty kick after Abdulelah Al-Amri was fouled in the penalty area, but VAR rejected this request.

After the break, Al Nassr remained the dominant team as they sought to break the deadlock. At the beginning of the second half, Ronaldo wasted arguably the easiest opportunity of the match when he failed to score from close range with a header that went wide of the goal.

Laporte finally opened the scoring in the 68th minute when he scored a precise header from Marcelo Brozovic’s free kick. A precise pass found the former Manchester City defender in the box, who deftly headed the ball home.
